英國國家統計局今天公布，艾梅里亞（Amelia）與奧立佛（Oliver）分別是去年最受歡迎的女嬰與男嬰名字，而受到喬治小王子誕生帶動，喬治也進入最受歡迎男嬰名字的前10名。

報告指出，去年出生女嬰登記的各式名字超過3萬5000個，男嬰則有2萬7000個不同的名字。

根據報告，2013年前10個最受歡迎的女嬰名字依序為：

艾梅里亞（Amelia）、奧莉薇亞（Olivia）、艾蜜莉（Emily）、艾娃（Ava）、伊斯拉（Isla）、潔西卡（Jessica）、芭琵（Poppy）、伊莎貝拉（Isabella）、蘇菲（Sophie）及米亞（Mia）。

而2013年前10個最受歡迎的男嬰名字依序為：

奧立佛（Oliver）、傑克（Jack）、哈利（Harry）、雅各（Jacob）、查理（Charlie）、湯瑪斯（Thomas）、奧斯卡（Oscar）、威廉（William）、詹姆士（James）、喬治（George）。

統計局表示，這是自2011年以來，艾梅里亞連續3年成為最受歡迎的女嬰名字，在英格蘭各地區，艾梅里亞都是最受父母喜愛的名字。

在男嬰部分，很明顯可以看出王位排名第2到第4的繼承人─威廉王子、喬治小王子及哈利王子，3位王子的名字都受到家長青睞。(中央社)
