白襪3A（Charlotte Knights）王建民台北時間24日凌晨對海盜3A先發，投6局失2分，優質先發的內容，幫助白襪3A以8比4贏球，建仔贏得第10勝，繼續等待升上大聯盟的機會。

王建民為了增加上大聯盟的機會，7月中轉隊到白襪隊，從3A起步，白襪隊的第4號及第5號先發投手表現不穩，建仔只要有持續有穩定演出，仍有機會上大聯盟展身手。

此戰是王建民轉隊到白襪隊之後第2場先發，用89球、58個好球，投6局，球速最快91哩，被擊出7支安打失2分，沒有三振、保送1次，滾飛球比是7比8，從這個數據來看，建仔應該搭配了不少的變化球，且收到不錯的效果。

王建民在2局下被海盜3A的Mel Rojas、Chris McGuiness連敲2支二壘打失1分，3局下則被Chase d'Arnaud 、Robert Andino連敲安打失掉第2分。

不過白襪3A此戰發揮火力，尤其是Andy Wilkins在1局上就轟3分砲，3局上再轟滿貫彈（本季25轟），一個人包辦7分打點，幫助白襪3A以8比4贏球，也讓王建民拿到第10勝（5敗），防禦率3.77；建仔有8勝是效力紅人3A時拿到的。
