梅莉史翠普在新片《魔法黑森林》扮演壞女巫，再度欺負《Prada惡魔》的臭臉助理艾蜜莉布朗特，但拍攝過程中，斗篷差點害她從高處落下摔死，要不是這位昔日助理「挺肚相救」，衝上前接住失足的梅姨，否則後果不堪設想。

艾蜜莉布朗特近年星運大開，與梅莉史翠普合作《穿著Prada的惡魔》走紅後，去年又與「阿湯哥」湯姆克魯斯合演《明日邊界》，這回她在新片《魔法黑森林》二度跟恩人「梅姨」合作，被問及感受如何？

艾蜜莉卻說：「梅姨很棒也很煩！大家看《穿》到《魔》兩片，她都不斷虐待我，好像梅姨只要恨我，就可以產生電影化學效應，但我還是對她很好，就像她拍攝時，差點因為絆到斗篷失足摔死，要不是我衝上前去接住她……但是，我拍戲時正懷孕耶！」所以說艾蜜莉「以德報怨」也不為過。

艾蜜莉布朗特在《魔法黑森林》中，演出被女巫詛咒而無法懷孕的麵包師傅太太，為了要解除詛咒，她不惜偷拐搶騙，遊走道德尺度邊緣，欺負其他的童話角色。但有趣的是，拍攝期間艾蜜莉卻正好身懷六甲，對比相當有趣。
