李登輝肯定李光耀獨立建國

新加坡前總理李光耀日前辭世，前總統李登輝辦公室主任王燕軍上午轉述李登輝對李光耀的肯定，王燕軍說，李前總統肯定李光耀當年帶領新加坡人民獨立建國，帶領新加坡成為亞洲四小龍之首，帶給新加坡珍貴的資產。

李登輝在就任總統後，首次出訪就是到新加坡，與李光耀互動甚多，不過，兩人後來的關係，不若前總統蔣經國，王燕軍不願就此表示看法。

王燕軍說，李光耀先前多次傳出病重消息，當時李登輝得知消息後曾表示，李光耀對新加坡的貢獻極大無庸置疑，而人生本來就要面對生死問題，但李光耀前總理已經充分發揮其生命的價值和意義。
