高屏溪禽鳥死亡　初判食物中毒致死

近日高屏溪下游傳出大量禽鳥死亡，高市動保處到現場調查，初步研判是小水鴨等禽鳥吃到被肉毒桿菌毒素污染的動物屍體，才會毒發身亡，但為求謹慎，仍採集檢體送農委會家畜所，最後後天即可知是否感染禽流感。
 
高市動保處長徐榮彬表示，該處昨下午於高屏溪雙園橋附近調查採樣，該區域有小水鴨、綠頭鴨、琵嘴鴨和赤頸鴨等多種禽鳥活動，依發病禽鳥症狀，初步研判是中毒死亡，原因為誤食被肉毒桿菌毒素污染的動物屍體，已採集檢體送往家畜所檢驗，以釐清與禽流感的相關性外，也會加強高屏溪沿岸養禽場的防疫消毒工作。（吳慧芬／高雄報導）
