日本全力營救 人質後藤安危成謎

激進組織「伊斯蘭國」（Islamic State，IS）發布日本人質湯川遙菜遭斬首的畫面後，另一日本人質後藤健二成各方關注的焦點，儘管日本政府傾全力想辦法營救他，但日本官員透露：「情況沒有改變」、「毫無進展」，日本政府依然無法確定他的安危。

日本政府在鄰近敘利亞的約旦首都安曼所設的當地對策本部，在前天深夜傳出人質被砍頭的消息後，坐鎮指揮的副外務大臣中山泰秀忙著與約旦官員會商對策，針對IS要求以後藤交換被約旦判死刑、目前在服刑的伊拉克女自殺炸彈客瑞夏維（Sajida al-Rishawi），約旦政府料將在確認斬首照片的真實性之後才會發表正式聲明。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
